Financial Benefits:
Under the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung scholarship, the following will be funded:
- Masters and postgraduate graduates are awarded a monthly scholarship of € 850.
- PhD candidates are awarded a scholarship worth €1,200 per month.
- Up to € 120 per month in health insurance subsidies are provided by the scholarship.
- The scholarship grants a family allowance of € 276 as long as you and your spouse reside together in the same location in Germany for a minimum of three months and as long as his or her monthly income does not surpass € 450.
- Up to € 1,500 in refunds are available for fees from university courses in Germany that are directly relevant to your study.

- Provide a well-organized, tabular resume that includes information about your prior volunteer experience and social commitments.
- A letter of motivation.
- Copies of your test results translated into German, in the event that the originals are not in English.
- Copies of your academic transcripts, if you have been enrolled in German universities.
- Evidence of proficiency in German (B 2).
- An unofficial recommendation letter for academic work: This letter, which should be no more than two months old, should outline your academic background and future prospects. The author must be a doctorate-holding university professor or instructor.
- A casual recommendation letter regarding the applicant’s character: This letter should highlight your interests and personality as well as your social commitment and grasp of values. The person writing the academic letter of recommendation cannot also be the author.
- Matriculation or entrance certificate from your German university.
Eligibility Criteria:
In order to qualify for a Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- German and English are required languages. possess strong German language skills (B2-level).
- All nations across the world are eligible.
- Own a university degree, since the programme doesn’t offer assistance with bachelor’s degrees.
- Demonstrate above-average academic achievement.
- When applying, don’t be older than thirty.
- Aim to spend at least three semesters studying at a German university, embrace democracy and human rights.
- Furthermore, they have already taken an active part in society and other people in their native countries via volunteering.
