Eligibility Criteria:
You must fulfil the following requirements in order to be qualified for the MPOWER scholarship programme:
- Academic Enrollment: Be accepted or enrolled full-time in a degree programme in a U.S. or Canadian institution that receives funding from MPOWER. A list of approved educational institutions can be found at https://www.mpowerfinancing.com/get-a-loan.
- Status of Immigration: possess the legal authorization to pursue your studies in either Canada or the United States, depending on where you want to study:
Regarding American Studies:
- Hold a valid visa that allows you to study in the United States.
- Receive protection through the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) initiative.
- Obtain a Green Card and live permanently in the United States.
Regarding Studies in Canada:
- Possess permanent residency in Canada.
- Possess a current study permit from Canada.
