University of Toronto CMPA Equity Scholarship 2024 For International Students:
The Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) is pleased to introduce the CMPA Equity Scholarship 2024, which seeks to advance Black, Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, and Métis), and other racialised medical professionals. This scholarship program is one facet of the CMPA’s commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in the medical community.
The CMPA Equity Scholarship aims to assist under-represented groups in the healthcare sector in overcoming structural and socioeconomic barriers. With this scholarship, doctors and medical candidates from equity-deserving groups have a unique chance to advance their careers and positively influence a healthcare system that is more inclusive and diverse.
Participating in the FMF 2024 provides a special opportunity to learn, network, and exchange research and expertise with colleagues in the healthcare industry. With this award, people who encounter systemic obstacles will be able to make a significant contribution to the medical community. Scholarship awardees will be able to expand their professional networks, learn insightful things, and advance their careers by attending FMF 2024. - To help with attendance at the 2024 Family Medicine Forum (FMF) in Vancouver, British Columbia, November 6–9, CMPA is happy to provide three Equity Scholarships. The registration for the forum will be gratis for the recipients. It’s crucial to remember that the scholarship does not pay for accommodations, transportation, or any related expenses.

Follow these procedures to apply for the CMPA Equity Scholarship:
- Write a 400-word essay explaining why attending FMF 2024 is important to you and how it will help your future.
Put your most recent resume here. - By August 16, 2024, send your application in either French or English to advocacy@cmpa.org. Notification of the selected candidates will be sent by August 30, 2024.
