DCSE Global Talent Scholarship 2024 For International Students:
The Department of Computer Science and Electronics (DCSE) offers the DCSE Global Talent Scholarship to international students pursuing a Master’s or Doctoral degree through research in order to prove their need for financial aid.
The following programmes at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia’s Department of Computer Science and Electronics are offering up to six scholarships to qualified candidates.
- Master Program in Computer Science
- Master Program in Artificial Intelligence
- Master Program in Electronics and Instrumentation.
- Doctoral Program in Computer Science

GTS Type A (3 semesters for Master, 6 semesters for Doctoral, with 1 additional semester.)
- Tuition fee full waived.
- Living allowance 2.5 million rupiah per months
- Research support funding for publication.
GTS Type B (3 semesters for Master, 6 semesters for Doctoral, with 1 additional semester.)
- Tuition fee full waived

- A copy of valid passport
- A formal photo passport color
- Certified copy of the diploma in bachelor degree or equivalent (in English)*
- Certified copy of the academic transcript of bachelor degree (in English)*
- Certified copy of the diploma in master degree or equivalent (in English)**
- Certified copy of the academic transcript of master degree (in English)**
- Certificate of English Proficiency (i.e. TOEFL, IELTS) for applicants from Non – English speaking countries
- Letter of motivation
- Research Proposal
- Academic recommendation letter from professors or potential supervisors**
- A recent curriculum vitae
- Proof of completing the registration process via http://admission.ugm.ac.id/
- Complete the online application form.
Eligibility Criteria:
Master Program
- The scholarship application deadline is 35 years old.
- Obtain a bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics, or instrumentation from an accredited university in one of the ASEAN member states, with a minimum GPA of 3.25 out of 4.00. Please be aware that holders of master’s degrees are not qualified to apply for the scholarship for master’s degrees.
- A strong mastery of the language
- In excellent health, as attested to by a health certificate.
- Ready to pay for health insurance for the duration of the study.
- Commit to the programme in its entirety upon nomination.
- Possess the mental and physical capacity to finish the programmes.
Doctoral Program
- The scholarship application deadline is 40 years of age.
- Possess a master’s degree in computer science, electronics, or instrumentation from an accredited university in one of the ASEAN member nations, with a minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4.00. Please be aware that holders of doctorates are not qualified to apply for the scholarship for doctorates.
- A strong mastery of the language.
- In excellent health, as attested to by a health certificate.
- Ready to pay for health insurance for the duration of the study.
- Commit to the programme in its entirety upon nomination.
- Possess the mental and physical capacity to finish the programmes.
