The Tamim Scholarship: is awarded to students who demonstrate academic distinction and merit. It honours the most eminent foreign and Qatari students in the Arab world.
- Complete payment of tuition.
- Free housing in the institute dormitories is a privilege for foreign students studying outside of Qatar.
- A monthly allowance.
- Health coverage.
- After graduation, two return tickets from and to the home country upon arrival.
- Students are not allowed to claim monetary allowances for advantages that they do not receive, nor are they entitled to the benefits of changing the grant.The legal status of students in the State of Qatar can be altered by grant conditions without the Institute’s approval.
- The institute may offer the application for this scholarship to students who have completed one academic year at the institute and earned a degree of excellence in order to promote academic excellence.
Sanad Scholarships: These are awarded to students based on their financial need. It is devoted to residents of Qatar, Qatari nationals, and foreign students.

Documents Required:
- For foreign applicants, a passport serves as an identity document. Citizens and residents of Qatar may obtain a Qatari ID.
- Transcripts from undergraduate studies. Older people should turn in all of their transcripts that they have received thus far.
- Diploma or certificate of graduation for graduates.
- CV, or resume.
- Results from the TOEFL or IELTS exam, or a formal declaration confirming that English was the primary language of teaching for the degree.
- Statement of Self.
- Academic Essay (required of applicants to the School of Humanities and Social Sciences).
Eligibility Criteria:
In order to be eligible for the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies Scholarship, you need to meet the requirements listed below:
- Arabic and English are required languages.
- Have a Qatari mother or nationality.
The applicant from Qatar:
- Get an overall high school grade of 80% or above, with at least 80% in science, math, and English.
- A valid high school diploma from the previous or current year.
- English language ability as follows:
- TEST iBT: 70, TOEFL CBT: 196.
- IELTS: 5.5 overall, not less than 5, with a minimum of 5.5 in each of the writing and reading sections.
Mother from Qatari applicant:
- Achieve an overall high school grade of 90% or above, with a minimum of 90% in science, math, and English.
- A valid high school diploma from the previous or current year.
- English language ability as follows:
- TEST iBT: 70, TOEFL CBT: 196.
- IELTS: 6 with at least 5.5 in each component (at least 5.5 in each of the writing and reading sections).
- Fulfil the medical requirements of the Company.
- Obtain a certificate of police clearance.
- If you are a recent high school graduate and have not yet done your National Service, you must wait to receive an offer from a university on the list of those authorised to provide the Emiri Scholarship Programme.
- Accept the division and workspace that Qatar Airways has designated.
- Ace a face-to-face interview with the business.
- Offer letter from a university in a subject area that the business has authorised.(Third-party foundations are not acceptable.)
Application Process:
In order to apply for this scholarship, please follow these steps:
- Use the DI admissions portal to create an application.
- Only one application per applicant is permitted. Applications submitted twice will not be accepted.
- Candidates have the option to apply in multiple sessions and store their application progress.
- All application materials must be uploaded using the internet site by the applicants.
- Candidates can use the online application system to request references.
- Referees can complete the online reference forms and automatically get the reference request.
- Even after submitting their application, candidates have the ability to monitor the status of their references online, contact a referee by phone, or seek a new reference.
