ETH Zurich Scholarship 2025 For International Students:

There are two categories of scholarships available: the ETH-D Scholarship and the Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme (ESOP). These scholarships are given to deserving domestic and international students. A highly strong Bachelor’s degree (top 10% of the Bachelor’s programme = grade A) is required. The deadline for Application to apply for ETH Zurich Scholarship 2025 is November 30, 2024 (Applications will open from November 1, 2024).

Financial Benefits:

The following advantages are offered to recipients of the ETH Zurich Scholarship:

  • The Excellence Scholarship/ESOP includes a tuition fee remission in addition to a scholarship worth CHF 12,000 per semester to cover living and study expenses.

Eligibility Criteria:

In order to qualify for the ETH Zurich Excellence Masters Scholarships, candidates need to fulfil the necessary requirements:

  • English is the required language.
  • All nations across the world are eligible.
  • A highly strong Bachelor’s degree (top 10% of the Bachelor’s programme = grade A) is required.
  • In February, there may be a phone interview or video conference as part of the selection process, so please make sure you can be reached at the number in your resume.

Application Process:

To be eligible for this scholarship, please take the following actions:

  • Applications for the ETH-D and ESOP scholarships are submitted electronically using eApply, an online master’s programme.
  • Please submit a separate application for each Master’s programme you are interested in if you are applying to more than one.
  • You must attach a pre-proposal for your master’s thesis together with the paperwork required for master’s admission. Check out the specs here (PDF, 70 KB). You must create the pre-proposal for your master’s thesis on your own, following accepted scientific citation guidelines. Plagiarism, carelessness, or deliberate false information will result in rejection from the admissions process or, in the event that it is subsequently discovered, in the cancellation of both the admission and any scholarship. You must provide the names of two references on your ESOP application if your studies programme does not request them.
