Important Notice:
Before applying for the HEC Commonwealth Scholarship 2025 UK, candidates must adhere to the guidelines listed below:
- HEC may interview, test, or both to create a selection of candidates.
- Direct applications are not accepted by Commonwealth UK. Pakistani nominations will all be processed by HEC.

- If fraudulent information is submitted at any point, HEC has the right to cancel the scholarship, prevent the recipient from receiving one in the future, and impose any penalties that may be necessary.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Be a citizen of Pakistan or AJ&K and a long-term resident of either country.
- At the time of application, applicants cannot be older than 30 for master’s degrees or 35 for doctoral degrees.
- Be ready to begin your academic career in the UK by September/October 2025, when the UK academic year begins.
- By the application deadline, candidates for the Master Scholarship must have completed their graduate degree (16 years of study, such as an MSC, MA, MBA, BS, or BBA) with honors in the relevant field of study.
- Candidates must have a first-class postgraduate degree (17–18 years MS/MPhil degree) in the relevant field of study, complete in all aspects, by the application deadline in order to be considered for a PhD scholarship.
- NOT be enrolled in a PhD program, an MPhil program leading to a PhD program, a Masters program at a UK university before September or October 2025, or not have previously completed study at the same level in the UK.
- Be unable to study in the UK without this scholarship due to financial constraints.

- Apply online at https://scholarships.hec.gov.pk/, the HEC website. Please choose “Learning Opportunities Abroad” from the “Scholarship and Grant” category in the web portal’s left-hand side panel after registering and filling out your profile.
- Obtain a printed copy of the application for the applicant to sign after it has been submitted.
