ISS Scholarship Fund for Excellent Students 2025 For International Students:
The majority of ISS students receive full or partial scholarships to study there. Seven schools, two institutes, and a university college with its own administration make up Erasmus University Rotterdam. This fund was established by the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) to assist exceptional students who do not qualify for other forms of financial aid. Eligibility Criteria:
The following conditions must be met by applicants in order to be considered for the ISS Scholarship Fund for Excellent Students:
- English is the required language.
- All nations across the world are eligible.
- You would like to apply to ISS’s Master of Arts in Development Studies programme.
- You possess an acceptance letter from ISS;
- You are a recent graduate with a first-class degree in one of the social sciences and a strong desire to study at ISS, or
- You have relevant job experience, a degree in one of the social sciences (upper second or first class), and a strong desire to study at ISS.
Application Process:

- Send an email with your request to (studentoffice@iss.nl), the ISS student office.
- Give a brief explanation of how a cost decrease will increase your chances of studying at ISS:
- A one-page motivational statement stating the rationale of your becoming this fund’s recipient.
- Comprehensive financial documentation, such as corroborating bank records, to demonstrate your capacity to pay for the remaining tuition, living expenses, and health insurance.
Note: Selections for the scholarship recipients are made continuously. The student office will notify the students who have been selected for the scholarship bursaries.
