Eligibility Criteria:
The following criteria must be met in order for the candidate to be eligible for the King Abdulaziz University Scholarship:
- All nations worldwide are eligible.
Undergraduate requirements:
- The pupil has to behave well.
- Students must possess a secondary school diploma or its equivalent, either in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or outside.
- The certificate of secondary school graduation for the student must be no more than three years old.
- For undergraduate programmes, applicants cannot be younger than 17 or older than 25.
- A relative who is within the forbidden degrees with a regular resident must accompany a female student.
- The prerequisites for admission must be met by the students.
Masters and Ph.D Requirements:
- For master’s degree programmes, students must be no older than thirty years old, and for doctoral programmes, they must be no older than thirty-five years.
- To be eligible for a PhD, students must achieve a minimum grade of very good in a recognised programme in their home country.
- Certificate of English Language Test Performance.
- Two letter of recommendation from prior faculty members must be provided by the student.
- It cannot be the case that students were expelled from a Saudi university.
- Candidates for degrees in information science, sociology, psychology, Islamic law and studies, Arabic language and literature, and psychology must be proficient speakers and writers of the language.
