Documents Required:

  • Identification copy (passport for foreign applicants, national ID for Saudi nationals, or iqama for Saudi Arabian residents).
  • Completed transcripts for a bachelor’s degree (and master’s degree if seeking for a doctorate).
  • A one-page essay outlining the author’s career and research objectives at KFUPM is called a statement of purpose.
  • Recommendation letters obtained via the online recommendation system from academic references following online application submission.
  • Certificates upon awarding a BS degree (or an MS degree in the case of a PhD application).
  • GMAT result (for candidates applying for an MBA abroad).
  • IELTS score (minimum of 6 for MS and 6.5 for PhD) or TOEFL score (minimum of 68 iBT for MS and 79 iBT for PhD).
  • Acceptable overall GRE score (minimum 156 in maths and 4.0 in analytical writing).
  • Original/certified copies of the degree certificate(s) and transcript(s), if approved, must be mailed.

Eligibility Criteria:

The following conditions must be met in order for the candidate to be eligible for the King Fahd University Scholarship:

  • Language Requirement: English (minimum TOEFL IBT score of 70/120 and minimum IELTS score of 6.0/9.0 required for MBA).
  • All nations across the world are eligible.
  • It is necessary to have a two-year Master’s degree (for Ph.D. applicants) and a four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • For scholarship recipients, a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 is required; for non-scholarship recipients, it is 2.5.
  • A 3.0 out of 4.00 GPA is required for MBA students.
  • MBA candidates must have at least one year of full-time job experience.
