Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Lazord Fellowship, a candidate needs to meet each of the standards listed below:

  • English is the required language.
  • All nations across the world are eligible.
  • Note: If you are a foreign national—including one who comes from a conflict zone—you must be authorised to work in the nation where the fellowship is being applied for and have a valid local residency status.
  • Open to all graduates from any branch of public colleges.
  • Need-based scholarships are given to private university graduates for a minimum of two years.
  • Holding a diploma from 2019 or after.
  • Be available to attend the September 21–September 27 Annual International Conference.
  • Male applicants from Egypt must meet one of three requirements: they must have completed their military duty, obtained a certificate of exemption, or be exempt from military duty.
  • Demonstrated history of civic engagement.
  • Prepared to dedicate oneself to a full-time, one-year fellowship beginning in September 2022.
  • Be a citizen or a foreign national, even if you are from a conflict zone, with the right to work and local residency in the nation where the fellowship is being applied for.

  • Fill the application with:
    • Information about yourself.
    • previous experience in civic engagement and leadership.
    • Your list of significant awards and recognition that you have received.
    • One-paragraph biography about yourself.
    • Personal Statement not less than 800 words and not more than 1500 words about a social cause (economic, political, social or cultural) that you are concerned with and your theory of change.
