Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the Presidential Scholarship Program at Prairie View A&M University, applicants must meet the following general eligibility requirements.
- Applicants must be Texas residents.
- Enrolment Status: Applicants must be full-time students, completing at least 12 credit hours every semester (6 credit hours for graduate students).
- Academic Standing:
- Freshmen must have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or better.
- Sophomores must have completed 30 to 59 credit hours with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better.
- Juniors must have completed 60-89 credit hours and a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Seniors must have completed 90+ credit hours (not more than 150% of the needed credit hours for their degree plan) and have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better.
- Graduate Students: Must have a cumulative and semester GPA of 3.0 or better, with preference given to those who have completed more than 54 graduate credits.
