Nigerian Women Association of Georgia Scholarship Programme (2024) for Nigerian Students:

The Nigerian Women Association of Georgia, Inc. (NWAG), based in the United States, is dedicated to supporting education for Nigerian students.In keeping with this purpose, NWAG is pleased to announce its scholarship programme for 2024, which will help female undergraduates in Nigerian universities.

The NWAG scholarship provides a one-of-a-kind chance for female undergraduates in Nigerian colleges to get financial assistance with their studies.

The Nigerian Women’s Association of Georgia (NWAG) was established in April 2000 as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organisation. NWAG to Award Scholarships to 111 Female Undergraduates in Nigeria University in 2024:

The Nigerian Women Association of Georgia (NWAG) will award 111 one-time scholarships, three per state of origin and three for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The 2024 Scholarship Award will award $300 to each undergraduate student in a Nigerian university, $150 to each first runner-up, and $100 to each.

Documents Required:

  • Proof of state of origin: a letter of origin from the university or a letter from your local government agency.
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Possible roles include pastor or imam.

  • One letter of recommendation from the Dean of your Faculty or the School Head of your Department.
  • Make a photocopy of your current university student identity.
  • A current snapshot of yourself.
  • An essay on why you need the scholarship
  • A typed, double-spaced, two-page guide on: “The alarming exodus of professionals leaving Nigeria for greener pastures: What’s the cause? What steps may be taken to improve or reduce this mass exit? “How does the “Japa Syndrome” affect education in Nigeria?”
