SJPL Rhodes Scholarships 2025:

Applications for the 2025 SJPL Rhodes Scholarships in the UK are now being accepted. Supporting applicants from Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine to pursue a Master’s or PhD programme at Oxford University in the UK is the primary goal of this educational prize. This is the Fully Funded Scholarships list for the 2025–2026 academic year. It is encouraged of students to apply for this prize.

International postgraduate awards known as Rhodes scholarships were established by Cecil Rhodes (1853–1902). The Rhodes Trust oversees it.

  • A personal statement should not exceed a thousand words.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates from Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria are eligible.
  • Age: As of October 1, 2024, you must be in compliance with the following requirements:
    • You must be at least eighteen (18) years old and not have turned twenty-four (i.e., born on or before October 1, 2000, and after October 1, 2000). OR (for candidates who are older and have obtained their undergraduate degree later than typical)
    • In addition to meeting or expecting to satisfy the requirements for finishing your first degree on or before October 1, 2023, you must not have turned 27 (i.e., not have been born after October 1, 1997).
  • You must have earned a First Class undergraduate degree or a minimum GPA of 3.70 out of 4.0 (or equivalent) and have completed, or plan to complete, your undergraduate degree by June or July of 2025. Please pay close attention to the prerequisites—which can be even higher—for the Oxford course you have selected. Promising candidates usually find themselves in the upper echelons of their graduating classes.
  • To meet the University of Oxford’s English language proficiency standards (at the Higher Level specified), you must possess a high enough level of English.
