Vice Chancellor’s Academic Excellence Scholarships

Eligibility Criteria:
In order to be eligible for Southern Cross University Scholarships, the applicant needs to meet each of the standards listed below:
- Language required: English
- All nations in the globe are eligible. You cannot apply if you are an Australian citizen or a permanent resident of New Zealand.
- To enrol in a full-time undergraduate or graduate coursework programme at the Gold Coast, Coffs Harbour, or Lismore campuses, complete eight units every year.
- The applicant must fulfil the University’s minimal standards for admission.
- Undergraduate entry requirements include a test score equal to the Australian Year 12 and the necessary admission grade for the programme for which they are applying; additionally, applicants must have English language proficiency equivalent to an Academic IELTS 6.0 overall with no band lower than 5.5.
- A degree that is comparable to an Australian bachelor’s degree and English proficiency equal to an Academic IELTS 6.5* are requirements for postgraduate admission.
- To continue to be eligible for the scholarship, students must successfully finish all of the units in their progression and maintain at least a pass in each one.
- To continue to be eligible for the scholarship, students must fulfil the attendance criteria of both their programme and their student visa.
