International students can apply for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme scholarship offered by the American University of Beirut to pursue graduate studies in Lebanon. The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Programme at AUB seeks to equip young people to be change agents in their local communities, nations, and regions. Eligibility Criteria:
The following criteria must be met in order to be eligible for AUB’s Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme:
- English is one of the required languages.
- Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, Djibouti, Mauritania, Comoros, and Other African Nations are among the nations that qualify.
- Africa’s nationals, as well as those who are refugees or internally displaced in Lebanon, are eligible for graduate scholarships.
- Academic promise, financial hardship, leadership potential, and a willingness to give back and return to one’s community are the criteria used for selection and acceptance.
- Transcripts from the university, official at all levels.
- Application for Graduate School (online).
- Two letters of recommendation.
- You must take the TOEFL or IELTS.
- The MBA programme requires the GMAT. Certain majors at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences need the GRE.
- Application costs: L.L. 75,000 or $50.
