Financial Benefits:
Scholarships from the University of Auckland will offer:
- Every year, up to 50 scholarships worth up to $10,000 will be given out for undergraduate and graduate education.
- The scholarship will be paid as a mandatory tuition credit towards the University of Auckland’s first semester of study. Only those fees directly associated with the applicable programme of study, plus the Student Services Fee, are mandatory.
Eligibility Criteria:
In order to be eligible for University of Auckland Scholarships, the applicant needs to meet each of the requirements listed below:
- English is the language that is required.
- All nations across the world are eligible.
- Applications for this Scholarship are not accepted from students starting a Research Masters programme.
- The Scholarship is not open to New Zealand secondary school dropouts or undergraduate students from University of Auckland Foundation Providers (UP Education and Taylors College).
- In order to be enrolled, students must register as “on campus.” Applications will not be accepted from students enrolled in distant education courses.
- Students who are not citizens, permanent residents, or holders of a residence visa in Australia or New Zealand are considered international students.
- It is not possible to postpone the Scholarship till the subsequent semester. A fresh application for the scholarship will be necessary.
- It is possible to combine the scholarship with another one.
- In order to apply for a taught master’s degree with 120 points or more, students must be foreign (with overseas secondary or post-secondary degrees).
