Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the University of Toronto Postdoctoral Fellowship 2025, a candidate must meet a few requirements. The following are these requirements:
- The candidate needs to have proven themselves as a leader in both academics and research.

- International candidates: complete your doctorate prior to the start date. Canadian citizens and permanent residents: complete your PhD within six months of beginning work.
- There isn’t a postdoctoral fellowship that runs concurrently with the Eric and Wendy Schmidt AI in Science fellowship. To accept the honour, one must step down from their present postdoctoral fellowship.

- Seeking funding or status-only work for a full-time job at the University of Toronto. If the primary supervisor lacks experience in AI, they must have a co-supervisor with such knowledge.
