Eligibility Criteria:
The following requirements must be met in order for the candidate to be eligible for the Winchester International Scholarship:
- English is the required language.
- All nations across the world are eligible.
- All international (non-EU) students wishing to enrol full-time in the University’s undergraduate or graduate teaching programmes are eligible for the scholarship for international students.
- The only applications accepted are those for full-time undergraduate or taught postgraduate programmes. The International Foundation Programme and the Certificate in English for International Students are two of the ELTSU programmes for which applicants are ineligible.
- ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: IELTS with a minimum writing score of 5.5 and an overall score of 6.0 for undergraduate studies.
- A combined TOEFL iBT score of 60, with a minimum writing score of 18.
- LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS IN ENGLISH IELTS with an overall score of 6.5, including at least 5.5 in the writing component, is required for postgraduate taught study.
- 79 overall on the TOEFL iBT, with at least 18 in the writing section.
