Applications for the 2024 NDDC Postgraduate Scholarship are now open to young Nigerians interested in studying at foreign universities of their choice.

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) offers a foreign postgraduate scholarship program as part of its human resource development initiatives. It aims to provide Niger Deltans with the training and skills needed to participate effectively in the current administration’s local content program and compete internationally in various professional disciplines.

The NDDC Scholarship is available for candidates with relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees from reputable universities in the following professional disciplines:

NDDC Postgraduate Scholarship Requirements:

To be considered for the NDDC Scholarship, you must:

  • Be from the Niger Delta Region
  • Have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)
  • Hold a First Degree with a minimum of 2nd Class-Lower division for those undertaking a Master’s Programme
  • Not belong to any cult group and must not have any criminal record
  • Have gained admission for a Postgraduate Programme in any of the listed disciplines above, at a Foreign University
