NL Scholarship 2024 | Ministry of Education For International Students:
For the academic year 2024–2025, the Holland Government is offering NL scholarships to international students. The recipient of this award, which is accessible for both undergraduate and graduate study, will receive €5,000 to help with tuition.
International students who are not in the European Economic Area (EEA) are welcome to apply for NL Scholarships in order to study undergraduate and graduate degrees at Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences in Holland. The Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science grants bright students the Holland Scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria:
In order to be eligible for the NL Scholarship, applicants need to meet each of the requirements listed below:
- English is one of the required languages.
- International students from non-EEA countries are eligible.
- You are submitting an application to one of the participating Dutch higher education institutions for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s programme.
- You are not an EEA citizen.
- You fulfil the particular prerequisites of the university of your choice. These are available on the institution’s website. Click here for additional information.
- You are not in possession of a degree from a Dutch educational institution.
Application Process:
Kindly adhere to these guidelines in order to be eligible for the NL Scholarship:
- Get the NL Scholarship by applying. Go here by clicking.
- An overview of participating research universities, participating applied science universities, and participating universities in particular subject areas is available.
- Write a 500-word letter of motivation explaining to the institution why you are a gifted student based on your extracurricular and academic accomplishments (volunteering, for example).
- Declare your intention to apply for the NL Scholarship in your online application, and add your motivation letter for the scholarship if necessary. If you are selected for a scholarship, the university will get in touch with you to notify you.
