Clark Fellowship is open to international students from all over the world who intend to undertake postdoctoral research at The Clark Art Institute USA for the academic year 2025-2026. The institute provides between eleven and sixteen scholarships each year, varying in length from one to ten months, with the bulk awarded for one academic semester.

Scholars, critics, curators, and museum professionals from both domestic and foreign institutions are encouraged to suggest initiatives that deepen and expand our knowledge of the visual arts and their cultural significance. Financial Benefits:

The maximum amount of the Clark Art Institute Fellowship is $30,000 every semester, and it is given out according to need and income. The amount of taxes that fellows owe the US government will be assessed case-by-case in compliance with Internal Revenue Service tax standards. The scholar and any accompanying family members’ transportation expenses to and from the Clark will be covered.

Typically, fellows are assigned an apartment in a newly renovated and enlarged late 19th-century home located across the street from the Clark campus. There are six units available, with one to two bedrooms as well as extra communal areas. Every flat has all the necessary furniture and is connected to the Clark computer network. With the exception of long-distance phone, the Clark will provide lodging and services. The Scholars’ Residence is a pet-free zone. It is not allowed to smoke inside any Clark buildings.

A private office in the Manton Research Centre is available to fellows from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. (with early closing hours on weekends). IT help and computers will be available upon request.

Eligibility Criteria:

In order to qualify for a Clark Art Institute Fellowship, candidates need to fulfil the necessary requirements:
