EAA Flight Training Scholarships 2025 For International Students:
Dreaming of becoming a pilot or acquiring an additional rating? EAA can help your aviation ambitions become a reality. EAA Flight Training Scholarships are for people who are interested in pursuing flight or a career in aviation or aviation related/STEM professions. This scholarship will cover International Student Fees (ISF) for the length of the award.
EAA attempts to provide scholarships that have a minimum payout of $5,000. Awards are made up of the following funds:

EAA’s scholarships are supported by dozens of philanthropists, benefactors, and others who “pass it forward” by endowing these programs. It encourages persons who are well-rounded, involved in their school or community, and interested in the world of aviation to apply for an EAA scholarship. The deadline for Application to apply for EAA Flight Training Scholarships 2025 March 1, 2025 at 12:00 pm Eastern Standard Time EST.
Financial Benefits:
EAA Flight Training Scholarships will offer the recipient with the following benefits:
- EAA attempts to provide scholarships that have a minimum payout of $5,000.
- EAA will transfer the money directly to the flight school. The first installment will be 40% of the total amount granted. After specific benchmarks, the next 40% will be dispersed. At the final benchmark, the remaining 20% will be given.
Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for EAA Flight Training Scholarships, candidate must complete all of the following requirements below:
- Required Language: English.
- All nations across the world are eligible.
- Flight training scholarships may be used at any flight school in the United States that is not a university program.
- All scholarship awards must be used at a flight training school within the U.S.
- Flight training scholarships must be used within one year from the date of award,so you must be eligible for the flight training process.
- There are no age requirements.
- All applications are examined against the criteria for the specific grants and then awarded to those who show the highest potential to be actively engaged in aviation.
Application Process:

- Sign up and create your EAA profile.
- Fill up the application form
- Answer the following essay questions in 150-250 words per essay:
- Why are you the best contender to earn this award?
- In the following year, what do you intend to gain from obtaining this award?
- How would this opportunity allow you to attain your long-term goals? Where do you picture yourself 10 years from now?
- State any specific person or family scenario affecting your need for financial assistance (if applicable).
Observations:
- The more “yes” answers you provide to the topics on the application (such as volunteer work, membership in the EAA, chapter membership, etc.) the more your application will stand out.
- Every essay should also include proper language and spelling, a smooth flow, and an excellent response to every aspect of the question.
- After a scholarship cycle ends, all winners and finalists will get emails notifying them of their status around a month later.
- You will receive an email with the necessary paperwork to complete if you are awarded a scholarship. After EAA receives these, the payment procedure will start.
