The primary goal of the European Society of Hypertension is to enhance blood pressure management and reduce blood pressure levels, which will lower the risk of cardiovascular disease, premature cardiovascular and renal morbidity and mortality, and medical expenses. Note: The ESH will give travel grants to nations that are struggling financially.

Eligibility Criteria:

For the candidate to be eligible for the European Society of Hypertension Summer School, they need to meet each of the conditions listed below:

  • English is the required language.
  • All nations across the world are eligible.
  • Newer candidates with a strong commitment to hypertension are emerging from both clinical practice and basic research.
  • Although there’s no specific age limit, applicants under 40 must be given priority.
  • Please take note that each participant may only enrol in the ESH Summer School one time during their lifetime.

Application Process:

To apply for this Summer School, please follow these procedures for submission:

  • National Societies of Hypertension in Europe should suggest at least two candidates per country (larger nations may submit more than two applications), and nominations must be received by March 15, 2025.
  • Fill out the application for membership.
  • Together with the nomination, the applicant should send a brief resume and contact details.
    In June, each National Society of Hypertension will get information regarding the applicant selection process.
