Applications for the Maynooth University Taught Master’s Scholarship are now being accepted. For academic achievement, 60 Taught Masters scholarships will be given to students in all fields. Eligibility Criteria:

The following requirements must be satisfied in order for applicants to be eligible for Maynooth University Scholarships:

  • Language Requirement: Chinese or English
  • All nations across the world are eligible.
  • Candidates must plan to enrol in the university’s full-time taught master’s programme starting in the 2024–2025 academic year.
  • Fulfil the prerequisites for admission to the taught master’s programme at Maynooth University, which they plan to enrol in for 2024–2025; they have applied online at www.pac.ie.
  • A minimum of 2.1 honours in undergraduate studies is required for all applicants to be eligible for consideration for a Taught Master’s Scholarship.
  • As part of the standard PAC.ie application process for a Taught Master’s programme at Maynooth University, applicants who are not graduates or alumni of the university must upload their final honours undergraduate degree transcripts for their level 8 degree to PAC.ie by June 30, 2024.
  • Applicants who received a student grant for their final year of undergraduate studies should include proof of this in the appropriate section of the online scholarship application. This will be taken into account if two applicants are tied for the highest final year undergraduate grades.
  • Those who have completed or are enrolled in PhD or Master’s programmes are not eligible to apply. Instead, prospective students interested in research programmes should apply for the John and Pat Hume Doctoral Research Awards at Maynooth University.
