- For the duration of their studies at MBZUAI, all accepted students will receive a monthly stipend. However, students must maintain a high academic standing, adhere to the university’s code of conduct, and complete specific obligations during their study term in order to keep their scholarships, stipends, and other advantages.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the Muhammad Bin Zaid University Scholarship, the applicant needs to meet each of the requirements listed below:
- English is the language that is required. Each applicant must submit documentation of their proficiency in the English language, such as an IELTS Academic score of at least 6.5 or a TOEFL iBT with a minimum overall score of 90.
- All nations across the world are eligible.
- MSc prerequisite: Final Degree: A Bachelor of Science degree, or its equivalent, from a highly regarded university that has been approved or acknowledged by the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE). When completing their application, students must supply their complete degree certificates and transcripts (in English). Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent.
- Master of Science degree or its equivalent from a well regarded university approved or acknowledged by the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) is required for a Ph.D. When submitting their application, students need have a minimum CGPA of 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale). Either comparable and present their transcripts and full degree certificates (in English).
- Within their first semester at the institution, a degree attestation (for degrees from the UAE) or an equivalency certificate (for degrees obtained outside the UAE) shall also be provided.
