Eligibility Criteria:
The following requirements must be met in order to be considered for Enterprise Fellowships at the Royal Academy of Engineering:
- English is the language that is required.
- All nations across the world are eligible.
- Generally speaking, we back:
- Researchers hoping to launch a business outside of academia.
- Fresh graduates looking to launch their own business.
- International PhD candidates desiring to launch a spinout or business who are already residing in the UK.
- Your eligibility meets our primary requirements if:
- Your solution has a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of four or above.
- Your company has received equity investment of less than 500,000 GBP.
- IP that you or a co-owner owns is protectable due to your innovation.
- You are the member of the founding team with the largest stock share in the business.
- You currently hold the position of CEO or COO of the company, or you hope to.
- For newcomers: you will not be enrolled in our programmes as a student or work during that time.
- Additionally, for startups: by July 1, 2018, you had earned your first university degree.
- For spinouts: you work for the university right now.
- Your PhD viva, if applicable, will take place no later than November 30, 2024.

The application process has two stages:
Stage one
- You provide us a quick introduction to yourself and your proposal in Stage One. It will take around sixty minutes to finish. Stage two
