Scholarship for Research Training Programme (Fee Offset)

  • For students pursuing a master’s degree by research, the full cost offset is available for up to two years, or for up to four years if they are pursuing a doctorate.

Scholarship for Research Training Programme (Stipend and Fee Offset)

  • For students pursuing a master’s degree by research, the full cost offset is available for up to two years, or for up to four years if they are pursuing a doctorate.
  • For a maximum of two years for students pursuing a Masters by Research degree or up to 3.5 years for students pursuing a PhD, living allowance of $37,000 per year pro rata (2024 full-time study rate) will be provided. Procedure for Selection:

  • All domestic students admitted into the postgraduate by Research programmes at the University will receive a Scholarship (Fee Offset).
  • The Scholarships with a stipend and fee offset are awarded to both domestic and international students based on academic ability.

Applicants who fulfil the prerequisites are assessed according to the calibre of their most recent degree. Also and their ability for research in their field of study. Considerations includes student’s degree completion at the same level as the research course for which the scholarship is requested. Their unique music compositions, their peer-reviewed publications, their relevant professional experience.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

Application Process:

  • You are not required to apply for this scholarship if, by the course’s application closing date, you applied for admission to a graduate research course. You will receive notification that you will be automatically considered for a variety of graduate research scholarships within seven days of submitting your course application.
  • You must submit an online application form if you have already been offered a graduate research course and have chosen to postpone the start date until the following year, or if you are presently enrolled in a graduate research course for which you are applying for funding.
