Deadline For Application:

The deadline for Application to apply for UAL/ISH Scholarships 2024 is 5 July 2024 (annual) for courses starting in September/October 2024. For courses starting in January 2025: 2 November 2024.

Financial Benefits:

The winner of the University of the Arts London Scholarships will receive the following benefits:

  • The scholarship has a total value of £50,000.
  • Charges for tuition include a portion of living expenses.
  • International Students House (ISH) housing will be provided to scholarship recipients for the length of their studies.

Eligibility Criteria:

For the candidate to be eligible for a University of the Arts London Scholarship, they must fulfil the following requirements:

  • You must have an offer to enrol in a master’s programme offered full-time, part-time, or online at one of UAL’s colleges or institutes beginning in 2024–2025.
    • A Grad Dip, M ARCH, MA, MBA, MFA, MRes, or MSc must be offered by your course.
    • If you currently possess a postgraduate teaching qualification from studies completed in the UK, either at an equivalent level or one altogether, you are ineligible to apply.
  • Also You must be eligible for tuition fee status under the Overseas category. Learn more about the cost of postgraduate tuition.
  • You either hold an upper second-class honours degree or above in your undergraduate studies, or it is projected that you will. Accredited substitute credentials are also accepted.
    • Your transcripts will be required as verification of your qualifications.
    • You must include proof of your anticipated grade with your application if you haven’t received your results yet. To be eligible for the reward, you will need to present additional proof that you have met your expected grade after receiving your results.
  • As part of your scholarship application, you must submit a personal statement that addresses the following inquiries in a maximum of 350 words per question:
    • Tell us about your upbringing and educational background.
    • Explain the impact that obtaining a postgraduate scholarship would have on you.
    • Tell us how you want to support your future ambitions with the qualification you will be receiving.
    • Verify any additional funds you currently have or have asked for to help pay for your studies in the UK.
  • You can provide evidence for your application in the form of a positive personal reference from a professional also academic reference. You must supply your reference in English.

Application Process:

Application forms for scholarships you could be qualified for will be added to your applicant portal’s “my funding” page starting in February, after you’ve received an offer to study at UAL.
