International students studying master’s degrees in China can apply for partial scholarships through Yanbian University’s Jilin Provincial Government Scholarship 2024. This programme, which covers living expenses, medical insurance, tuition, and housing, is intended to draw exceptional students. Financial Benefits:
The scholarship pays for a percentage of your educational costs and is awarded for a maximum of two years. The advantages are broken down as follows:
- Tuition and Housing: For the full two-year period of the scholarship, we will pay your tuition and housing costs for a double room.
- Living Allowance: To assist you with living expenses throughout the scholarship period, you will receive a monthly living allowance of 1,700 yuan.
- Basic Medical Insurance: As long as you are a scholarship holder, we will cover your basic medical needs.
Kindly Take Note:
The award only pays for costs incurred during the first two years. Any expenses you incur after that point are your responsibility. The same guidelines that apply to students who are self-funded will be used to determine how these costs are billed.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree is required of applicants.
- Age requirements: Candidates must be under 35 while submitting an application.
- Chinese Proficiency: Candidates must show that they can speak and understand the language at least as well as the new HSK level 5 or a similar level.
