IIE-SRF Fellowship 2024 (Fully Funded)

IIE-SRF Fellowship 2024 For International Students:

Researchers in the German state of Baden-Württemberg can continue their work in the subject of liberty and security thanks to funding provided by the Baden-Württemberg Fund for visiting research appointments at universities and other higher education institutions in the region. Teachers, prominent scientists, and intellectuals from government agencies from any country, academic subject, or field who are facing, or have recently left, direct threats to their lives and/or careers in their home countries or countries of permanent residence are eligible to apply as researchers.

The IIE Scholar Rescue Fund (IIE-SRF) was founded in 2002 by Dr. Henry Jarecki, Dr. Henry Kaufman, and Mr. Thomas Russo as a result of the IIE trustees’ commitment to making rescue scholars an ongoing aspect of the Institute’s work. Since its founding in 1919, IIE has placed a strong emphasis on defending researchers and students who are in danger. IIE has demonstrated its commitment to defending the right to informational freedom and liberty during historical movements such as the Hungarian Uprising and the Bolshevik Revolution.
