2024 Learn Africa Programme/ African Women Postgraduate Scholarship

Postgraduate Scholarship Programme for African Women 2024 Learn Africa Programme:

The Women for Africa Foundation’s long-awaited Learn Africa postgraduate scholarship scheme returns for another year. With over ten years of experience, the curriculum has attracted 350 female students from 35 different African countries. Many of them completed their studies in Spain or Morocco and went on to work in their home countries or pursue doctoral degrees.

The Women for Africa Foundation has made a strong commitment to PhD scholarships in this new call for applications, with this being the year with the most doctoral scholarships available. Furthermore, the Foundation has continued to promote academic programmes in STEM subjects, expanding to include innovative topics such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, food safety, and sustainable construction.

This year’s edition includes 76 new scholarships and 22 continuation scholarships, thanks to the unwavering support of the program’s 50+ collaborators, which include universities, business schools, and private sponsors such as GMV, ASISA Foundation, and ANESVAD Foundation.

Without a doubt, the programme’s success is reflected not only in the number and variety of scholarships offered, or in the impact that the Learn Africa experience has on the lives of its beneficiaries, but also in the program’s diverse range of partners, which grows year after year. Thus, for this new request, Learn Africa will have the honour of counting on the University of Almeria (UAL) and the ENAE Business School (Murcia), both of which have begun their adventure in the initiative with a significant commitment of two scholarships each.
